Our Problem

Lever Interactive was outgrowing their existing e-mail and data storage solutions and President, Chris Gilmartin, and his staff were having consistent issues accessing their remotely hosted systems. Their email was down on a regular basis causing delays in receiving important messages and information. On top of that, they wanted to install a more robust backup system for their critical data and gain more direct access to their hosted Microsoft SharePoint site. “It was getting difficult to rely on these systems,” Chris noted, “and we needed to take control. Dealing with these vendors and issues was taking up large parts of everyone’s day and keeping us from focusing on our business and customers.”

Our Solution

After evaluating Lever’s needs and understanding where Chris wanted to take his business, Util-IT put together a solution that would not only benefit everyone today, but also have the ability to grow with the company. We migrated his e-mail system and Microsoft SharePoint site from their unreliable hosted solutions to a server located at his facility that is now monitored by Util-IT. We increased the amount of disk space that was available and upgraded his network to handle his anticipated growth. A new firewall was put in place to make sure all of these systems were properly protected and a new backup system would ensure their critical data were safe.

Our Results

Chris noted that, “since Util-IT has taken over our systems, I have not had to think about our technology. It is simply on all the time. The migration went smoothly and we have had no interruptions to our email system or a problem accessing our SharePoint data since Util-IT has been here.” With time to focus on his business, Chris has been able to expand his staff by thirty-three percent and add several new clients.
